Leveraging the power of group service projects

Serve Rhode Island has the experience of planning group service project opportunities for local non-profits, urban K-12 schools, public parks and recreational areas and in response to natural disasters. Below are examples of popular group service projects. However, Serve Rhode Island is here to help you design a project that meets your needs so contact us today!

Environmental Clean Up Project

A group of Fidelity Investments associates volunteered at the Wild Place Park in Providence. The volunteers removed invasive plant species and planted wild flowers to help refresh and beautify Wild Place Park in Pawtucket.

Painting Physical Service Project

On Martin Luther King Day of Service (January 18, 2016), almost 200 AmeriCorps members came together to help transform the West End Recreation Center in Providence. AmeriCorps members painted inspirational murals, cleaned, repainted the community room using bright colors, constructed seating, retiled the hallways and completed several other beautification projects. Students and staff were thrilled with the final results!
